Speaker Support System
Method
We chose to go with a design that could provide stability for the speaker while also allowing for a nearly full range of motion. A pivot on the cone by the wall mount allows the speaker to go left and right, and then two circular joints on the ends of the arm let the speaker move up and down while still staying level. The arm between the joints is extendable, and can be adjusted by inserting and removing a pin. Both the wall plate and speaker plate have holes for screws/bolts so they can be easily attached to the wall or speaker. The system was also created so that it isn't too large, so it can fit in a certain sized box for shipping.

Conclusion
This project taught me a lot about the creative design process and working with a team. Because we couldn't talk face to face, my partner and I had to communicate via the internet. Although it was a challenge, I feel it was a good experience and it taught me about how it might feel to work in the real world. If I were to do this again, I would design a couple other attachments for the wall and speaker plates so the system would be more compatible with other products. Overall, I learned a lot from this project and it went very well.
